Bill Rudolph

Bill Rudolph is Chair of the United Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh (UJF), the top volunteer position. In his more than 35 years of involvement with the UJF, Bill has held numerous key leadership positions at the Federation and in the Pittsburgh Jewish community.

He previously served as Vice Chair of the Federation, Chair of Development, which oversees the Federation's entire Fundraising efforts; and Chair of the Federation's Annual Campaign. He also served as Chair of the Federation's Central Services, which encompasses all the organization's accounting and financial operations. Bill has also been intimately involved with UJF committee work that examined vital community issues such as capital needs and strategic planning. He is also a past recipient of the William and Olga Stark Young Leadership Award, presented annually in Pittsburgh to an outstanding young Jewish community leader who serves as a role model and exemplifies the ideals essential for the next generation of leadership.

Bill follows a long family tradition of community involvement and leadership. His father, Leonard, of blessed memory, led the UJF in the same role, as did his brother Jim. Beyond the UJF, In Pittsburgh, Bill has served as President of Yeshiva Schools and a member of the Boards of the Agency for Jewish Learning, Jewish Family and Children's Service, the Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh, Hebrew Free Loan, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, the Charles M. Morris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and the Jewish Chronicle.

Professionally, Bill is a principal in McKnight Realty Partners, which has acquired or developed commercial real estate for more than 30 years. He is also a Partner and Board Member of Rita's Italian Ice. Additionally, his other Pittsburgh community involvement includes serving as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the city's economic development agency. He also holds a position on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, which is comprised of Downtown businesses, professionals, civic organizations, foundations and residents to develop and advocate for strategies that will strengthen the city, enhance its beauty and vitality and make it a better place for business and pleasure.
