Last year we made the contest a big success by nominating hundreds of inspiring Heroes and casting over 500,000 votes. This year promises to be even better, but only if we all get involved. These Heroes go out of their way to make the world a better place, in a variety of ways. Whether their work affects a handful of people or hundreds, they deserve to be honored for their efforts by being nominated for the Jewish Community Hero of the Year Award. At the conclusion of the campaign, this honor will be announced at The Jewish Federations of North America's annual General Assembly, held this year in New Orleans.
