How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Yossi''s love for Judaism, Israel and children are the perfect combination for his enthusiastic educational approach to all his students, whether in Hebrew School or public school. His students, both adults and children, love him and are inspired to continue to deepen their personal understanding of Hebrew and Israel's place in the world. Yossi accepts everyone where they are and strives to get them to commit to furthering their education. He never gives up on anyone and helps everyone he encounters to feel they are special and important. For over three decades Yossi has lit the spark of Jewish learning throughout the greater Indianapolis community.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
Yossi's enthusiasm and caring concerns inspires all his colleagues to strive harder to be even better educators themselves. He rekindles my enthusiasm for Jewish education every day.
