How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Yona, started chesed of florida. A completely volunteer based organization which feeds the poor, help people in crisis if its health related issues by helping them get the best care possible through his contacts, put food on the table every singe week, pays electric and water bills for those who cannot afford. He is a chaplain in numerous hospitals in South florida. He constantly stops cremations of Jews by taking care of the expenses to bury them. Yona has been in Haiti to assist with the recovery of body of Jews and the list goes on. His entire life is dedicated 100% to chesed. He lives chesed, dreams chesed and acts with chesed to all. He has a pure heart and soul.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
I met yona almost 4 years ago. He changed my life. He taught me how to make chesed part of my daily life and today I volunteer for him. I pray that I can be a small percentage of what he is. An inspiration, a true Tzadik.
