Tell us about your nominee. Why should he or she be recognized as a Jewish Community Hero?
I would like to nominate William Levin, also known as the Jewish Robot, as my community Jewish hero. Most Jewish organizations today are faced with the same problem of figuring out a way to communicate to the new generation of Jews that don't identify themselves or associate themselves as part of a formal community. William is one of the few people I know who successfully and continually engages Jews worldwide with his original videos and cartoon animations that are not only funny but educational as well. I don't think there is anyone I can think of that is more deserving of this honor than William.
