What problem did your nominee identify in the community that needed to be solved? How has your nominee's efforts made a difference for others?

Unfortunately today's youth find it increasingly difficult to find a place that helps them connect to and explore their Jewish identity. Synagogues can be intimidating and school classrooms may not be engaging. Rabbi Lipner has provided a new space that encourages exploration and provides a comfortable and welcoming environment. Rabbi Lipner has affected hundreds of Jewish youth and young adults, notably those ages 18-28. This cohort often finds itself on the cusp of adulthood and with it - responsibility. If it be through beginning a family or carving out a life path, there is renewed curiosity as to how Judaism fits in the mix. Rabbi Lipner and "The House" have created a place where these important questions can be explored.
