Tell us about your nominee. Why should he or she be recognized as a Jewish Community Hero?
He is a Rabbi in our community. Married to a Rabbi, they they have three wonderful daughters. A totally selfless individual, he serves as a Hospital chaplain at the Clarian Group of Hospitals here in Indianapolis. He is a volunteer Fireman and Policeman. He mans the suicide hot line on a regular shift during night time hours and fills in when needed. He always makes himself available to officiate for funeral services when families are not affilliated. This is an individual who, to my knowledge, has never said no to anyone in need.
