How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Works with teenagers and young adults in schools. He teaches and encourages them to get involved in the community...and provides the support once they do. He has worked with Holocaust survivors in writing their memoirs. He prays for families who are struck by illness. He is humble in his work, never seeks out recognition. Because of this, much of what he does is a mystery except to those he personally affects. He inspires many students of all ages to get involved in the jewish community, both here and abroad. He truly nurtures the idea of tradition, religion, and tikkun olam.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
He has been an inspiration to my fellow classmates and I throughout school. More than teaching the class material, he teaches us what we didn't know we had to learn. He inspires every student he interacts with and encourages them to do good for others through the principle of Tikkun Olam. He is an example of the person he inspires students to become.
