How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Besides the fact that he was one heck of a lawyer, Marc Leventhal has inspired hundreds of Jewish teens around America since he became a teacher. At the Weber School, Mr. Leventhal teaches some of the most compelling and intellectually stimulating Judaics classes known to man. He has inspired many young teens in the Atlanta to dig deeper and analyze what it means to be Jewish.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
Not only has Mr. Leventhal challenged my beliefs about Judaism, he has also been an unbelievable mentor and friend. He has led me constantly question every side of any argument, especially ones related to Judaism. While I was on the Bronfman Youth Fellowship, it was Marc Leventhal who I brought with me as a voice in my head.
