How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Leah's mission is to encourage all Jewish girls to express creativity, develop leadership skills, and strengthen Jewish observance. Over a hundred talented girls have served on Yaldah's annual editorial board. Yaldah Magazine also co-sponsors twice-yearly Jewish Girls Retreats, unity projects, creative arts contests, and camp scholarships. Recently, Leah created YM Books, a division of Yaldah Media, Inc., devoted to providing girls with high-quality, Jewish-themed books. Leah visits camps, schools, and synagogues to talk about her amazing journey and to encourage young people to do big things. Leah's dream is to one day create a Yaldah Club House where girls can pursue creative endeavors together. Leah Larson makes the world a better place, one girl at a time.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
Leah inspires me to never give up, to live a life of purpose, and to believe in the power of one person to make a difference.
