How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Everything she does is founded in improving our world, assisiting others, and educating herself and the community around her. While studying to become a Rabbi, she blogs about her experience in sptirituality. She is a spiritual leader of a Reconstructionist congregation where she is a founding memberand freely and frequently, formally and informally educates herself and shares with the community around her.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
Her tireless giving of herself and education of those around her goes above and beyond that if any individual I have ever met. Not only is her career path in fund raising for Israel based in Tikkun Olam, but virtually of her spare time as well. Not because she is driven, but because she love it. She eats it, drinks it, and breathes all that the Torah teaches is holy. As a full time doctor, I know I make a difference, but the shear joy she shares in the form of Jewish education is interesting, exciting, and her breadth of knowledge is truly inspiring.
