Tell us about your nominee. Why should he or she be recognized as a Jewish Community Hero?
Jenni works continuously to help homeless teens, youth and young adults. She volunteers her time to this cause in so many ways. She has even got her children involved. She knows that all children deserve love, food and shelter.
What problem did your nominee identify in the community that needed to be solved? How has your nominee's efforts made a difference for others?
She has collected almost 2000 dollars on Facebook and started a group for homeless youth on Facebook. She has worked at the homeless shelter Sylvia's Place - sometimes until 1:00 am. She is there for holidays and she helps anyway she can.
