How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Fred Taub is one of the most important writers of our time. He has the ability to explain things with the poise of a poet while captivating the the audience. He ran the fight to deport Nazi John "Ivan the Terrible" Demjanjuk and won. He is a one-man pro-Israel PR machine. In addition to hosting the very popular Jewish Community Radio show on WJCU, 88.7 FM Cleveland, Fred runs Boycott Watch and Divestment Watch where he regularly in the media, including Fox and Al-Jazeera TV. Not only has he written the arguments everyone uses to fight the divest-from-Israel campaign, but he has a book out soon all about it! I love talking to him and hearing all the brilliant things he has to say. He is probably the best speaker available nationally. The funny thing about his radio show is that he rarely mentions his last name. He is modest and, as he says, he wants to give people the tools they need to get their job done. He truly is a community hero if there ever was one.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
Fred is my favorite teacher. When I read Fred's articles, I feel great and walk away being able to present the material like an expert. The best thing about his radio show is when he asks his guests the questions I want to know the answers to, and is always respectful to his guests.
