How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Erez is a completely selfless person. After his army service in Israel, Erez spent a lot of time working in Africa helping people who have been effected by the AIDS epedemic. Since he has been on campus he has influenced the campus' attitude towards Israel and has coordinated many programs on campus to provide accurate and positive information about Israel.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
I have had the great honor to be Erez's intern since he came to the University of Illinois. He has been a great mentor to me and many of my Jewish peers on campus. He has helped me go to Israel on many different occasions. Besides being a great supervisor on campus he has been a great friend to me and to all of the campus.
