How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
Ellen Schwartz takes her friends, family and students on a journey where they realize the power they have to make a difference in the world. Ellen (via Project Give Back and Jacob's Ladder) magically teaches and allows children to gain a true understanding of acceptance, kindness and social responsibility and is investing in future philanthropists and leaders. She believes so passionately that if she can give children the proper tools, guidance, and a belief in their capabilities, anything is possible. And, in Ellen's sincere, exceptional, passionate style, she is making this happen.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
I would write that it's impossible to sum up the powerful difference that Ellen has already, and continues to make in my life, but she has taught me that everything is possible and "to believe" and to always embrace the positive. She is a beacon in my life, and inspires me to give freely, laugh and love, and only by watching how she lives and works. And, I must highlight, that there are an incredible amount of people that would claim to give her the same credit.
