How is your Hero working to make the world a better place?
David created the Felicia Ann Cutler Foundation to honor his wife's legacy. Her door was always open; she loved to feed people and knew how important it is for all people to have enough food. David continues his wife's work with the creation of a 4 acre urban farm in Tucson. His goal is to continue to expand his efforts by tilling land in other parts of Tucson, growing more food, helping more people. Many homeless and low income people are not able to eat well. Their meals are sparse, with poor nutrition. Often meals are nonexistent. Soup kitchens and food pantries have difficulty accessing fresh produce. Protein is particularly hard to come by. The Foundation has provided thousands of pounds of produce and thousands of eggs. This is tremendously important and goes a long way to help those in need. The Foundation has helped hundreds of homeless and low income people and families in Tucson.
How has your Hero impacted your life and inspired you?
David inspires me with his completely selfless giving. He does what he does because it is important and he wants to help people in his community. He works to not only feed those less fortunate, but also to unify the Jewish community.
