When the polls were showing Senator Obama
down by 20% with the Jewish community, Ari (along with his partner Mik
Moore), created The Great Schlep - helping Sen. Obama win Florida and
more importantly - reconnect Jewish grandkids and grandparents.
What problem did your nominee identify in the community that needed to be solved? How has your nominee's efforts made a difference for others?
There was a great deal of lashon hora ("evil
tongue") and rumors floating around the internet about Sen. Obama. Ari
helped correct the misinformation and thus help elect Sen. Obama.
